Clarity II™ laser Hair Removal
“ I’ve tried different hair removal methods over the years. Shaving was time-consuming, waxing was painful and creams were messy and irritating. I finally decided to try laser hair removal with Clarity II. The treatments are so much more comfortable than I anticipated and after only two sessions so far, I’ve noticed remarkable hair reduction and I have yet to pick up a razor! ”

What Makes Clarity II™ superior
Older lasers use single-wavelength technology, limiting their ability to treat many factors
and risking patient safety if used outside of their capabilities.
Clarity II™ uses a combination of two wavelengths.
Long pulse 755 nm alexandrite and 1064 nm Nd:YAG
This dual-wavelength technology allows a wider range of treatability.
Clarity II™ allows the practitioner to select the wavelength and intensity to customize the treatment and maximize results for each individual while also protecting their skin from unnecessary damage.
Clarity II™ uses the most advanced laser technology available
Clarity II™ is safe & Effective on all skin types & Tones
Older lasers are not suitable for use on dark skin due to their single-wavelength technology, which is more likely to cause damage to the skin cells surrounding the hair follicle, and risk discolouration of the skin.
The dual-wavelength combination of Clarity II™ is much safer for all skin types, and especially for darker skin tones, as it allows the practitioner to customize the wavelength and intensity for each individual’s skin type and tone.
Clarity II™ also uses Real-Time Temperature Sensing to safeguard against overheating damage to the skin, which is especially important with darker skin tones.
Clarity II™ is Effective on more shades of hair
Clarity II™ can effectively treat a wider range of hair colours than other lasers.
Older lasers can only treat dark brown or black hair on fair skin, which means they are not suitable for a lot of individuals.
With its industry-leading technology, Clarity II™ can treat a much wider range of hair and skin tones,
and its exclusive shorter pulse widths provide greater efficacy for finer hair removal.
As long as the hair on the treatment area is darker than the surrounding skin, it can be treated!
Clarity II™ is virtually pain-free
Laser hair removal with older lasers is notoriously painful.
Clarity II™ employs an advanced cryogenic cooling mechanism which makes treatments feel painless. *
Each laser pass is made more comfortable by the emission of a cryogenic spray that provides instant cooling of the skin.
This rapid and well-controlled cooldown also adds an extra level of safety when treating dark skin.
Only Clarity II™ provides Real-Time Temperature Sensing which allows the practitioner to gauge that the client’s skin is kept within a safe temperature range throughout the treatment, minimizing pain and the possibility of damage to the skin.
*Generally, Clarity II™ is more comfortable when compared to other lasers, but keep in mind that everyone is different, with varying skin and hair types, as well as pain/sensation perception and tolerance.
If it any point you experience pain during your treatment notify your practitioner immediately.
Clarity II™ is faster and requires fewer treatments
Clarity II™ can completely treat an area in significantly less time than other hair removal lasers.
The customizable diameter of the laser is adjustable to the ideal treatment spot size.
Larger areas such as the legs, chest, and back can use a larger spot size to treat more hair follicles with fewer laser passes. This allows for faster, more convenient appointments.
Clarity II™ laser hair removal is much faster than older types of lasers and fewer treatments are usually needed to achieve desired results.
Clarity II™ uses a unique IntelliTrak™ technology designed to precisely deliver pulses with a safe overlap of areas. Unlike traditional and imprecise freehand stamping techniques, this allows the practitioner to ensure complete and consistent coverage of the treatment area, while also achieving a faster treatment speed.
With its many proprietary and advanced technologies, Clarity II™ is able to provide faster and more complete hair removal than older techniques, and often sees patients who are satisfied with the results after as few 3 to 4 hair removal treatments. *
* As everyone’s skin and hair responds differently, no guarantees can be made as to the number of treatments that each client or area will require.
Laser hair removal is a non-surgical, non-invasive method of removing unwanted hair.
The laser energy passes through the skin to the hair follicle, attracted by the pigment in the hair.
The follicle’s growth cells are damaged substantially by the laser energy, which inhibits further hair growth.

Most clients notice a reduction in hair after only one treatment, with desired results achieved after an average of only 4-8 treatments.
Vascular & Pigmented lesions will vary depending on the specific type of lesion(s), and each individual’s skin. Many factors can impact the number of treatments that will be necessary, including each individual’s skin and hair type, and unique known and unknown conditions that may impact responsiveness. Because of this, no guarantees can be made as to the number of treatments each area or client will need.
-
Some clients may feel a slight discomfort with each laser pulse. This discomfort resolves quickly and is minimized by Lutronic’s Cryo ICD, or cooling system, which delivers cold air exactly over the laser treatment area.
-
Side effects are rare, and may include redness, swelling, hyperpigmentation, hypopigmentation, blistering and purpura (a laser bruise) in the treated area - these usually do not last more than a few days.
-
Clients should avoid plucking, waxing, or electrolysis for 4-6 weeks prior to treatment. Skin should be clean-shaven and thoroughly cleansed, removing any makeup, creams, oils, topical anesthetics, or self-tanning products before treatment. Avoid skin care products with irritants such as Glycolic Acid or Retin-A on the treatment area for about a week prior to and post-treatment. Do not expose the intended treatment area to sunlight or tanning booth light prior to or immediately after treatment.
Full details on Info & Care surrounding each treatment can be found on the specific treatment’s page, and will also be sent to you with your Appointment Confirmation. -
Yes, it is important to shave the area to be treated, cleanly and thoroughly, within up to 24 hours prior to your treatment.
(the area must be shaved - not waxed, or otherwise removed)
If the area isn’t shaved cleanly before your appointment, the laser will singe the hair, possibly resulting in a burn to your skin.
In addition, if the hair hasn't been shaved properly, treatment will not be as effective, and it may result in small temporary grazes on the top layer of your skin. -
A cool compress or aloe vera may be applied for comfort following your treatment. Clients can resume daily activities immediately after treatment.
Any redness or swelling should resolve within a few hours. Side effects are rare, and may include redness, swelling, hyperpigmentation, hypopigmentation, blistering and purpura (a laser bruise) in the treated area, but these usually do not last more than a few days.Prevent sun exposure by applying sunblock (SPF 30 or above). In the first few days after treatment, do not scrub or rinse the treated areas with abrasive skin cleansers.

No! IPL and lasers, such as the Clarity II, work differently and each are effective for different types of treatments.
Some IPL providers may market it as a “hair removal” treatment, but it is really only able to achieve some hair reduction, and only if the client’s hair responds very well.
IPL machines use Broad Spectrum Light with a wide aperture as a means of treating the skin, so it is not able to target specific things, like tiny hair follicles.
Laser machines use a specific and powerful wavelength with a focused aperture, so it is very effective at treating specific targets, such as follicles.
In order to achieve true hair reduction/elimination, the hair follicle must be destroyed. To do this, the light energy used must be focused and powerful enough to deeply penetrate down to target the base of the follicle. Laser is able to do this more effectively and safely, without negatively impacting the surrounding surface skin, than IPL.
Since some IPL businesses falsely advertise it as Laser Hair Removal, clients may believe that they have already tried LHR and it did not work well for them. Indicators that the treatment you received was not true LHR are the use of messy gels and a bulky treatment head. Newer hair removal Lasers do not use this messy conducting gel, and the treatment head is usually around the size of a coin, whereas an IPL’s is much larger - around the size of the opening of a hair dryer or larger.
If you have tried IPL before and had unsatisfactory results, trying a high-powered laser like our Clarity II will almost certainly yield results that will impress you!
